• Dear Members:
  
  
  The time has come for Shaker Ridge Country Club to host the Capital District Golf Club Association meeting and golf event this Wednesday.  They will tee off on the first tee between 1:00 - 2:00 PM.  There will be approximately 4 groups. 
  
  As always, thank you for your understanding and patience. 

• The Ladies Wednesday Evening League will start play this week.

• To All Members -  We have decided to continue with the tee box management for this year with some adjustments.   Our main objective is to maintain the tee boxes through the golfing season by moving the positions on a daily basis in a planned pattern.   This provides a variety of tee positions for all players on a regular basis.

• Since some of the tee boxes are limited in size, we have decided to combine the red and white tees on a number of the tees boxes.  They are tees 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 & 18.    We hope you will find the change both challenging and rewarding.

• We need your help.  Please remember to repair all ball marks, rake bunkers, fill or replace divots, and pick up your broken tees.  It only takes a few seconds to help keep the game more enjoyable.  This includes the practice facility, which is now open. Thank you.

  Shaker Ladies Opening Scramble
  For New and "Seasoned" Shaker Ladies—
  our first outing of the 2008 Season is a Scramble.
  All we need is YOU!
  No matter what Winter did to your game—it will be Perfect for this format. Every level is important to our teams. The Pro Shop will set up the ABCD groupings for us.

• The first Senior Inter-club will be held at the Wiltwyck Country Club on Monday May 12th. The event will be a 12:30 shot-gun start, with lunch before play and dinner after we finish. The fee will be $136 ($126 + $10 for prizes) which is higher than normal as this course is a very nice track and also both meals.

• The Friday Evening Couples League will start this Friday (April 25).
  The league is open to any couple.
  Sign up with the Pro Shop before 4:45.  Tee off is at 5:00 PM.
  Various Formats are used, fun for ALL!
